This case study research paper is a report Game Development using Artificial intelligence. The engine used to create this game was Game Maker studio 2. GameMakerStudio is a series of cross-platform game engines that let users create a 2D prototype. The purpose of creating Tao’s adventure: The mystery of the dragon seal, was to present a game simulation of an Artificial Intelligence that would help improve cognitive thinking, problem solving and memory. Since last semester, the game has been upgraded and it’s a complete prototype. The scripting language used for the creation of this game is the GML programming language. This is a research report and case study was to prove that our prototype could improve brain function. During this study, Tao ’s adventures: The mystery of the dragon seal, was tested among different people to prove this theory.
II. GAME SPECIFICATIONS
The Game starts with “Tao’s Village “. In this part the character has a mission to travel to the Lost Ghost Village, to find her way to the mystery Dragon, users will have to figure out where this mystery dragon is. As the character continues with her journey she has to find her way on collecting items that will give her special power. She also has to be careful not to encounter herself with the Pa-lon Ghost brothers and BossGhost, which are small ghosts that could potentially endanger her life. As she's walking to the village she finds the talisman and other items that could help her make her journey better and easier until she finds the dragon.
In phase one she has to collect 5 items to go on to the next phase. If she doesn’t collect the items she wouldn't be able to continue with her mission. The items are unique and special to the character of the game.
The game has 14 items such as Talisman Green ability to make you invisible, Talisman White ability to float and fly, Talisman Pink ability to open doors, Talisman Blue ability to float and Talisman Yellow ability to move fast. Other items such as Green Dragon let the mission end, Blue Coins purchase other items, Golden Keys end the game, Black Keys open the door to underground cave, Red Potion gives live. Finally, the sword, bow, and arrows that are considered weapons. These weapons are very useful at the end of the game. However, the talisman is the magic that Tao has in the game. It is the most important part of the game.
In phase three we understand that at this point the character should be able to be in an underground cave which will lead her to her mission in finding the mystery dragon. There are three rooms; one is where the Boss ghost needs to be killed and the dragon will appear, the second room is where the coins are, the last room is where she needs to beat the timer to exit the game. See below the Game System Design for the entire game and decision tree that is created separated from the game that is in the test system details.
III. Behind the Scenes:
The character development: The idea behind this character was to make it look like a Zelda adventure but the purpose of this game was to copy the character from final fantasy sprites where there were different movements of the characters. That is used for different actions of the game. We also can see on the right side of the page an anime version of the character where a Nintendo logo replicate has made for the user experience and future improvement of the game.
Note: Manual is shown of the feel of the Nintendo look and it’s page
We want the game to have a more complex interface/prototypes such as Nintendo/XBOX/ Playstation, the idea behind it would be to improve the look and the character's ability to do different tasks. It will also help with our brain function theory. Since this character was built for educational purposes the more strategies the character has the more it helps the user to develop those skills and our theory would prove that games do work for Cognitive thinking. The “Cutout modeling” that was used throughout the game is a technique that sets up a game scenario which shows more detail on the character and character development. Tao is a simple anime cartoon with a very unique look with different colors of clothes. We always have the same idea to keep her unique look with aqua color hair, and her green eyes. In the most improvement of the game, we have her in a pink dress and red boots.
THE PA-LON GHOST BROTHERS: The enemies are the Ghost Brother and Ghost boss, who end up killing all the people of the village. Tao’s mission is to restore the village and bring back to life all her loved ones. This is how she will continue with her brother's legacy. Ghost's idea was to create a massive blue ghost. The idea behind the creation of the Pa-lon brother comes from Ghostbuster. In the beginning of the game you will see little ghosts running around trying to get Tao and, this affects her life because the ghost will make her invisible, stopping her from breathing the more the ghost gets close the more the character will suffer. She can fight them with the sword to stay alive. Finally, we have the big boss ghost who is found in the underground cave where she will find the mystery dragon after killing him. The Pa-lon brothers were mystery men that love to collect items and use their invisibility abilities to help everyone around them. However, after the curse of Calabase they are forced to become ghosts and hunt people, draining their ability to be visible and making them suffer. When tao’s find their precious items which is the dragon. The curse would be broken and everyone would be back to life. Unfortunately, the Pa-lon brother will finally die and move on to the next stage of life.

FUTURE:
The world of video games is full of suprises and all it does make your dream to a different world. The use of current and emerging tools in education is becoming a must among educators. Gaming in education may be viewed as something bad for students. However, the role is to increase student's motivation and engagement. This can enhance visual skills, multitasking and memory. Educators are taking this seriously by using technology and strategy games. Some game applications that for example can teach history or math that could be designed into puzzle games or brain teasers could be the answer to improving Cognitive thinking.
Our game is the type of game that follows defined rules and tasks to help players rationalize each task. In the following section we will be showing a predictive manual on how the Tao’s adventure can be shown with different settings such as the most requested Nintendo Switch. We will explain how this game can be improve see following:
To develop an enthusiastic learner through video games
To motivate and engage students with visuals of the games
Reduce monotonous learning methods.
To help students with focus, multitasking, and memory.
